If a jewish marries a non jewish person would you celebrate Hannukah or Christmas? So the question is which religion would you follow the Jewish religion or the other persons language?

It depends.
They might celebrate either, neither or both.
When I was married to a non-Jew, we raised our children (who are Jewish because their mother is) in a Jewish home, and celebrated all the Jewish holidays. However, his family still celebrated Xmas, so we and the children went to his parents’ home for Xmas.
Each intermarried couple must work this out for themselves. It’s an important topic to resolve before the marriage.
