America celebrates all three -Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.

-some people just start at the first one and keep on going through all three

Thanksgiving is a Memorial of the Pilgrim’s harvest feast after the hard grueling year since they landed in America. Christmas is the celebration of Christ’s birth more than 2000 years ago (well for some people at least).

They are different, but they are connected.

Thanksgiving always falls on a Thursday. The next morning is "Black Friday" — as in business go in the black because they’re raking in the dough. See, the day after Thanksgiving is the official, unofficial, start of the Christmas season.

This year, with the horrible economy, stores have really pushed the start of Christmas shopping… so this year it would seem the holidays are being blended together.

Yes all three. Thanksgiving is a national, USA, specific holiday to celebrate the colonization of this country, Christmas is obviously a religious holiday and New Years is pretty much a holdover from pagan Europe.

Different holidays. Christmas is a Christian holiday, Thanksgiving was started after the Civil War by Lincoln, to give a day of thanks and new years is on Jan 31, Thanksgiving is always on the 4th thursday, in Nov and Christmas is always Dec 31

yea, of course we celebrate Christmas!! We celebrate all of the above.

Also, they arn’t the same thing. Thanksgiving is when we give thanks for the harvest and basically eat. Christmas is when we get together to give presents and give thanks for Christ’s birth.
