Why most Filipinos celebrate a holiday called Easter?

I read "The earliest Christians did not celebrate ‘Easter’. They celebrated Passover. After all, Jesus died on the eve of the Passover and He rose from the dead on the Feast of the Unleavened Bread."

Which holiday is more Christian: Passover or Easter?

Your thoughts? Thank you!

It is not even Filipino. Who created those Easter activities like Easter Egg Hunt? Not us. But we also celebrate Valentines, Christmas, New Year, and all the other holidays with English or American origins.

Easter. Christians celebrate his rise from the dead on Easter. Jesus was born a Jew, but then preached Christianity. Passover has nothing to do with Christians.

I don’t think many Filipinos celebrate Easter. They celebrate it but they just say it.
