How will you prepare what you cook? What traditional foods will you have on the table?
Aren’t you happy Lent is (almost) over?
Happy Easter to all.
GC
I, and many of my close friends, live away from our families. The ones that are not going out of town for the holidays, including myself, will be working that morning. We have to cook and serve breakfast for around 450 people. It’s our busiest day besides Mother’s Day! Then after that, we all hang out and get shwillie together, throw darts and feast! This year I am not cooking because I will be exhausted from 9 hours in the kitchen. I think we should order pizza…

I’m still trying to figure that out. I was talking it outloud yesterday and I’m on the fence between going somewhat Sunday dinner roast with mashed potatoes and gravy and greens or regular weeknight dinner of chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and corn or asparagus. I’m also debating on dessert either brownies or a cake.

We usually do the traditional ham and butter beans, mashed potatoes etc. But this year my son wants to grill out so we are having hamburgers and italian sausages with peppers and onions, homemade macaroni and cheese and a big salad, and cucumber salad. Sounds like summer. however right now we are having a huge snowstorm – hopefully we will be able to dig out the grill!!
