who determined that … who determined that will be the day of “christ’s birth.” ? Jesus didn’t his apostles didn’t and the bible doesn’t mention a word of the time when of his birth or death. In fact Christ being born in a stable implies that he was born at a warmer time than winter because if it was Dec 25 stable would be filled with animals to keep from the cold. Going by your logic man has the authority to make a false date of birth and mix it pagan traditions way to follow the right path of god catholics.
WHY do we *BLAST* … WHY do we *BLAST* the “Pagan’s” for their beliefs? Geeze…I mean I believe we should just LOVE each other; isn’t that what God/Jesus would do? The Roman Catholic Church started all this BS in the first place….You know what, I’ll just wait unrtil a later date…but I’ve got one thing to say….DO NOT PUT OTHER PEOPLE down for being wiccan, or catholic, or whatever…..there are plenty of *issues* at hand to worry about; in other words….those who r without sin, cast the first stone…hello
you are not … you are not following my logic. He did forbid the use of pagan religious practices to be repackaged and directed at Him. That is what I am saying. If I want to drive at 50 or 55 is my choice so long as I am following the speed limit I am ok w/ the authorities and God. However, when directing my worship I must not cross the lines that He has established as not acceptable Deut. 12:29-32. Did you read that before replying?
It doesn’t say only … It doesn’t say only to observe his death and not observe anything else ever, it just marks out the Sacrifice specifically, it is not wrong to rejoice in the birth of the Saviour(how could that be a sin, if we are thanking God for it?) But lets follow your logic and ask a few more questions, Did God give you authority to worship in English:) To drive a car, post on youtube:)? No, he didn’t. But did he forbide you either? No, he didn’t:)
I agree. It is not … I agree. It is not pagan if Christ is worshiped, it is almost as if people are saying don’t worship Christ on this day..why would it be wrong to worship Christ on any day?
A holiday is only … A holiday is only pagan if a pagan diety is worshiped on it. Yashua isn’t a Hebrew word. Ps. Ya is never used as a prefix in Hebrew, and the elongated form Yeho and Yo in Yehoshua isn’t the Name of God, it is an older Hifel form:)
yahshua doesnt wont … yahshua doesnt wont us to celebrate any of those pegan hoildays, only the sabbath day(saturday) stay out of the sundays services it will not get u to heaven it will sent u to the lake of fire.have a personal releaship with yahshua, pray, read your bible, fastin, and spreadin yahshua word, have faith and believe.and u shall enter the kingdow of heaven
I do agree, what’s … I do agree, what’s so wrong with setting one day aside to *celebrate* our Savior’s birth? So what if it’s not the actual day HE was born[which most of us agree it was sometime in the fall]….we still set aside one day of the year to CELEBRATE HIS birth; it just so happens to be 12/25……otherwise, we *celebrate* His love and mercy for us EVERYDAY of the year……please, don’t make such a big deal out of this time of the year, HE loves us REGUARDLESS
Christmas isn’t the … Christmas isn’t the “birthday of Christ,” rather, it’s a celebration OF the birth of Christ. (Nobody ever said that December 25th was the actual date of his birth. It was just determined at some point that one day of the year should be dedicated to celebrating the fact that our savior was born)
Take something … Take something twisted and make it good?, the “devils day”?? awesome!. I will always be amazed for what christians do believe, and how they justified all kind of nonsense
Bad, bad logic and … Bad, bad logic and reasoning. You need to study history and develop a good understanding of how most of the holidays we celebrate came about. Remember the basic understanding that the Romans incorporated many holidays and pagan rituals into their society. They were trying to keep everybody happy as long as they did not complain about not being able to practice their ‘traditions’. Much of what is going on these days is acceptable to just about everyone. We should be set apart for God.
atheist and such … atheist and such arent pagans, and its mean to call people that, how many people that are called pagans ever get converted from that, paganism is a specific religion
hello pastor … o pastor Ibelieve I was the one to promp you tomaking this video… I want to say I am a christian and like your work, but no where in the Bible does it tell us to celebrate the Lord’s birthday
Deut 12:29-32 … Deut 12:29-32 teaches us that we are not to inquire after the way the heathen/pagans worship their gods and bring that tradition or form of worship to our God. We are told only to observe what God taught and we aren’t to add or take away from it. God doesn’t give us the authority to use pagan traditions and incorporate them into our worship toward Him. He doesn’t allow for it. We are only taught to remember His death.
The foundation of … The foundation of Christmas is bad. God did not ordain commemorating Jesus’ incarnation. We need to recognize everything about Jesus everyday and do it in a way that we know is pleasing unto Him. My friends’ website goes into great details about Christmas, the website is NewCovenantChristianCenter with org extension.
Modern pagans don’t … Modern pagans don’t appreciate your “Christianizing” their holidays, nor do they appreciate you calling their holidays the “Devil’s day”.
