For over 30 years I celebrated Christmas. But when I learned the truth about God’s word, and observed the behavior of the world, particularly those who call themselves Christians, but do not mirror Christ, I realized that I no longer wanted to participate in this holiday out of respect for Jesus, and his Father Jehovah my God. I am proud to be a witness of Jehovah, and a follower of Jesus Christ whom I love.

One point I may make is that the letter “J” has only been around for 3-400 years so the name “Jesus” and “Jehovah” are incorrect. But at least you are not replacing the name with a man made title “lord”.

Christmas IS a retail holiday.Christ was never “in” Christmas. 12/25 was a pagan holiday until early religious leaders/Roman officials changed it to “honor” Christ. Nowhere in the 4 Gospels does tell Christ followers to celebrate the birth of Christ/Christmas – Christ followers should focus on what Christ DIED for, spreading His word and reaching out to others -all year long! NOT fighting over parking spaces at the malls during the retail holiday season, all “in the name of Christ.”

I am not JW but …
I am not JW but Anglican, and I must say in these past few holiday seasons, esp this one and last, that I have learned many lesson, been confronted by many of the truths of celebrating. It really has nothing, nothing at all, to do with our Lord. There really is no excuse. If we observe anything at all, it should be the life and teachings of Christ, all year at not just at holidays! Unfortunately it is ingrained in our collective experience, God help us all.

Praise the Lord, Christians rightfully dividing the word of truth, and standing on it. It is sad to say that our churches are filled with this false hood and promote it. When do we speak up? Excellent video. It’s sad to see what can happen to people during the holiday season. I live in NY and the stress level is palpable. A few weeks ago a few people were killed during a sale in a Long Island Walmart. They were trampled to death while trying to get to merchandise that was on sale that particular day. Merry Christmas.
