mk…my sweet sixteen is coming up and i don’t know how to celebrate it. i want to celebrate it at a restaurant or buffet (mostly buffet) but don’t know which one is affordable for me and all my friends. do you know any good restaurant or buffet around Santa Ana, Garden Grove, or any city around here? i was also thinking that after the eating, me and my friends would go to the block and have some fun like watch movies….wadaya think? how should i celebrate my sweet sixteen?
there is always a budget problem…how much are you willing to spend? how many people are going? etc etc etc…
yea, a buffet sounds great!
and personally, i wouldn’t want to watch a movie on my sweet sixteen, when you turn 16, it’s one of those "special ME" moments, and sometimes, i feel if we all watch a movie, we are all so focused on the movie for 3 hrs that we ignore the special birthday girl.
i think that your sweet sixteen should revolve more around you, it IS your special day..
however, this is just me, and you are opt to your own decision and what YOU want…
The party will probably be in March, so it’s unlikely to be outside. I am considering asking guests to bring their favorite American foods, but need other ideas too. I am on a tight budget so need to do this as cost effectively as possible!
Thanks!
Decorate with hanging chads.

Am I wrong to think this is the stupidest, if not, then a most dangerous gatering with a small child present.
Has anyone ever heard of this type of birthday party?
What do you think???
I think it is wrong to throw an adult party if it is for a child – give me a break is she self centered.

I am turning 20 and most people i will be inviting are 20 and older and most of them have jobs so what is the best day usually to celebrate my birthday?
I’d say Saturday night. That way you have all day Saturday to get ready, decorate, do food, etc. If you are going someplace where you don’t have to prepare anything, they either Friday or Saturday.
Good luck!
How can I prepare to surprise someone in surprise party?
What should I prepare for dinner?
their favorite food.
music.
dancing.
balloons.
she was working in our college for eight year from the time college established now got a government job. she leaving college she we feel to give good farewell party to her please give some ideas and quotes to arrange party
It’s up to the Head of the Department to come up with something he/she believes is appropriate to the circumstances. The staff she works with usually collect for a gift and arrange to take her to dinner where the gift and a card are presented to her. She’s leaving for a new position so it’s quite different from retiring.
my friend wants to celebrate her birthday but she doesnt want a big party. im just thinking of fun place to hang in which there are stuff do and good food
Universal Citywalk has a lot of restaurants to choose from, fun stores to browse, a movie theater, and Jillian’s (games and bowling alley but they might card at the entrance). http://www.citywalkhollywood.com/
The Grove is a nice outdoor mall located between Beverly and 3rd on Fairfax. It’s nicer but there’s not much to do aside from shopping and expensive theater. There’s also a bigger version in Glendale called the Americana. http://www.thegrovela.com/
You could also check out Hollywood and Highland. It’s a huge mall complex with two theaters and a lot of eateries (Johnny Rockets/CPK/Koji Shabu Shabu) but since it’s Hollywood there’s always a lot of things to see on the street and fun booths throughout the mall. http://www.hollywoodandhighland.com/
Wherever you end up going to eat…you should secretly let the waiter know it’s your friend’s birthday. You might get a free dessert or a happy birthday song from the waiters.
Another option that I recommend is going to Karaoke. I recommend Max Karaoke Studio because they have a great song selection. You can get your own private room to rock out in. http://www.maxkaraokestudio.com/westlaprice.html
