… in school?
UNLIKE obama–
Cosby and King ARE NOT RAcists. so, no. King was colour blind–and he would never have supported obab’s ideas–even if obama is black.
King was not following color like BO does…
We’re f”ked now..with this racist and his hateful big toothed mother.
Is today the holiday to celebrate when Cosby & Obama told blacks to be responsible for their kids & staying ?
Would you be surprised or offended if I assumed you celebrate Kwanza this holiday season?
Just curious how you all would take it if you were wished a happy Kwanza like 10-20 times per week.
It would get a little old after a while but I wouldn’t mind.
What is your favorite holiday to celebrate and why?
Out of all the holidays (both federal and non federal), which one is your favorite holiday to celebrate and why?
Federal holidays are holidays such as Easter, Independence Day Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Non-federal holidays are like Valentine Day and Halloween
When I was a kid, it was Christmas of course. then it was Christmas and Halloween, then just Halloween, then it became any holiday that was a paid day off. Just lately, with my unemployment woes,(I’m actually employed now again, well at least till February) I’ve learned to accept every day as the same. Not like everyday is a holiday, more like holidays are now irrelevant.
EDIT:
Sweetest day makes me want to puke

when do you start to celebrate the Christmas holiday?
when dose yor your family start?
As soon as the tree goes up, which is the first weekend in December. There are Christmas parties, and we usually have one, too. Just a small get together, nothing fancy. Very casual. It’s the friendships & family that make the party… everything else is secondary.
Did everyone have fun last night? what did u all do? which celebrated holiday did you yourself celebrate? ?
If Samhain do tell what you chose to honor the ancients?
We celebrated Samhain. We offered a plate of food to ancestors and asked their blessings on our family for the coming year. We use the Samhain ritual out of "the Pagan Family" book that we have had for years and which is now out of print. It is a great ritual, however, but too long to go into here.
If someone from another country wishes you a happy Holiday that they celebrate you what would you say?
for example..
I have many Chinese friends and they are having there Holiday "Spring Festival" today. It’s like there new year holiday will because of my interest in China and the Chinese culture and traditions they have been telling me 新春愉快 (Happy Spring Festival!) or 新年好!(Happy New Year) for the past week are so..
So my questions are.
If someone from another country wishes you a happy holiday that they celebrate that your country don’t…
How would you reply?
What would you thank?
How would you take it?
By the way I am in America.
Feel honored that they respect and trust you enough to wish you a happy holiday. It is okay to wish them a happy holiday (Ramadan, Yom Kippur, whatever) even if you don’t celebrate. After working with international University students for a couple years I have found that they LOVE that someone from another culture is educated and respectful enough to show an awareness of their cultural tradition… You might even find that in return they wish you Merry Christmas or Happy Thanksgiving!

Valentine’s Day sucks for me. What should I do to be happy and celebrate this holiday?
There’s no one to celebrate with. I’m alone. I’m broke. I’m bored. And everywhere I go, I always see a girl and a guy together. It just makes me sick seeing those people together everywhere. It sucks. And all of my classmates got a present on Valentine’s Day and celebrate the holiday with a guy except for me. I mean, what can I do? I’m just a sick, jealous anti-valentine person. What can I do to be happy on Valentine’s Day???
Valentines day has never been good for me. One year i got dumped, this year the boy I gave a "Be mine" decorated pop-tart too and hw just looked at it.
Me and my freinds are going to Denny’s and pig out. You need to hangout with freinds, or see a movie. But i’m anti-Valentines day right now as well your not alone.
