The 75th Anniversary Committee of Riding Mountain National Park of Canada will provide assistance and support to community-based events and activities taking place in 2008.

Are you wondering if there are any grants that your organization could apply for to assist with sponsoring your event?  Just email us and we will send you a list of groups that you could approach.  Please note that many of these groups require the application for grants to be submitted 6 months to a year prior to the event.

Have you ever watched Canadian Idol and wished you had the opportunity to perform in front of an audience?  The Elkhorn Resort and Clear Lake Golf Course are coordinating the Clear Lake Idol Contest to be held August 10th and August 25th, 2008.  Vocalists from Wasagaming, Onanole, Erickson, Sandy Lake and Minnedosa are invited to participate and compete for the $1500 in prize money.  Registration forms are available at the Front Desk of the Elkhorn Resort.  Contact Blue Moffat at (204) 848-2802.
