Celebrate

I would like to know more about Greek holidays and I know that easter is very popular is Greece, so I was just wandering if they celebrate with an Easter bunny.

Yes, Easter is a very significant holiday in the Greek Orthodox religion, but they do not celebrate with an Easter bunny. That is more of an American, Catholic custom.

22 April will be Earth day: this event is celebrated since 1970.
The purpose of this day is to remember our world is in danger (just recently ago a group of British scientist in the Artic, proved the North Pole ice will be all melted in the 2019, if we don’t do nothing about pollution!
So my question is: How do you gonna celebrate, like start doing something to help the environment?

I am going to and have started to recycle more. Also being more careful not to leave the faucet running while brushing my teeth, closing the refrigerator door, shutting off unneeded lights and getting more energy efficient bulbs. Some bulbs are really expensive so we buy one at a time when we can.
Little things do add up.

I grew up in new york celebrating christmas with songs like we wish you a merry christmas. Now I cant find one santa claus doll thet sings merry chrismas, and the lady in the store said they stopped selling it because it is offensive to other cultures. Why do i have to adapt to other peoples cultur ,why cant i have mine and they have theres?

I wasn’t aware that it was an issue until I moved to New York and was cataloging the "holiday" section at the Virgin Megastore. Santa Claus dolls that sing Merry Christmas could be bought in smaller towns up in New England or out west.

New York is chock full of nitpicky tards, so I wouldn’t assume the rest of the world is like this.

So what is the purpose of the Holiday and what do you do to celebrate it? Also what is Yorkshire pudding?? is it vanilla pudding with little california purse dogs floating in them? lol please elaborate

Boxing day is the day when adults get drunk.

Yorkshire Pudding is a sort of fruit slice topped with fresh kipper and served in a pool of onion gravy.

I read somewhere because of a popular new year holiday called "Yule" from the old religion that the church wanted to stop the people from celebrating, so they replaced it with a christian holiday.

how can i celebrate christmas in sims 2?. i have the installed the expansion pack, i can celebrate wedding, birthday, new year, but still i cant celebrate christmas?. i put christmas tree, decors, but still i cant celebrate it?. Please help me.. What are the exact ways and things i need to put in the house just to experience celebrating sims 2??.. Help help.. Thanks a lot for the future help. Godbless

They celebrate the "Revolution day" with a lot of processions and loud music. School bands are marching in the streets.
If you expect to sleep at night, you should be aware, that the people here love the tradition of fireworks. The whole night long!

We want to do something different htis year for our 4 year old. Usually we have dinner and the egg hunt then thats it. I want to be a little more funnier from he gets up to he goes back to bed.

Well i would say color eggs, then have an Easter egg hunt for Friends/family with little prizes. fill his basket with toys that you and he can play with like a ball, or a plastic bat/ball set, coloring books, and crayons, silly putty was always a favorite in my household, rubber duckies for bath-time(wal-mart has different colors), and maybe a storybook like Little Cottontail or something like that for bed-time.
P.S. if you have the room for it you can think about getting him a real live bunny, or if you have a yard maybe some live-peeps
