This is my first girlfriend and I’m a noob to everything, help please! Also, how do I celebrate 6 months and 1 yr too plawks? Thanks in aadvance for all help.
Any way that you’d like. It also depends on how much money you have/are willing to spend. Take her out to a dinner/lunch, make her a poem on what she means to you and how you feel about her. Jewelry. Stuffed animal. Maybe a picnic
Good luck to the 2 of you
i mean on easter it’s all about bunnies and eggs but if you have seen the movie Passion of The Christ then why would a freakin’ bunny rabbit be there i mean it talks about Jesus on the christ getting nailed down by it i mean come on
Easter is a pagan Greek celebration of fertility that was incorporated into false Christianity to entice pagans to convert. It should not be celebrated by true Christians. The only celebration that Jesus told his followers to keep was the lord’s evening meal where his disciples drank the wine and ate the bread on Nissan 14, the night of his death. You can look this all up in the Encyclopedia at your library.
Why do atheists and people who are not religious celebrate Jesus’s birthday? Why do they put up decorations and buy presents? I think Christmas is now officially just commercial. For the most part. Most people that celebrate it don’t give a (expletive) about Jesus’s birthday, but just want presents and to sell stuff. Why do atheists and non-religious people still celebrate the birth of Christ?
I agree that Christmas has really just become a buy me holiday where people think of lists of presents. I think that non-religious people celebrate christmas not because it represents the birth of Christ but because christmas is the joining of christian and pagan traditions. What does a tree, lights, and santa have to do with the birth of a Jesus. In the Roman times to unite the people the cesar combined the two. So I suppose that Christmas really has two meanings but the main focus is Christ is born, or at least it should be.
Was that effective or was it like talking to a deaf person?
When Bill Cosby delivered the message that Sharpton and Jackson will not say, the minions of groups like moveontosocialism.org and the liberal media, dug up dirt to dismiss and disparage Cosby, to send him and anyone else who does not lead civil rights with "get even with whitey", a message, we will destroy you.
Cosby said blacks need to place their families and children first, fathers not to abandon their kids and have children they can’t afford.
Jackson and Sharpton on the other hand, pervert Dr King’s message by inciting racial hatred to gain political and other power.
Tomorrow you will hear Sharpton’s and Jackson’s message, not Cosbys. The liberal media chooses the leaders for black Americans who would be offended with the assumption that Jackson and Sharpton, speak for them.
For example, here in the UK we exchange Easter (chocolate) eggs – mainly for women and children. Every shop on every corners sells them and every confectioner makes them. Are such eggs available in America and are they given out as presents widely or just by anglophiles? Is there a specific way Americans celebrate Easter in a non religious context?
In my experience, it’s not a big deal for adults except in the religious sense.
Kids wake up Easter morning to find a basket left by the Easter bunny, with candy and small toys in it. I always got a chocolate bunny in mine.
Then the kids go on a Easter Egg hunt. The Easter bunny hid the eggs you decorated the day before, and the kids have to find them all. No one actually "wins" the game, it’s just fun. Some folks use plastic eggs with small prizes in them instead of real hard-boiled eggs.
Is there anything wrong with just having a group of people over at your house to celebrate the last supper? I’ve heard of some groups doing so and some groups don’t use the bread and wine, but rather they just have a community meal with fellowship. Is there anything wrong with either? Thanks.
No, it shouldn’t be wrong. Jesus said to "do this in remembrance of me". Jesus also said that where two or more are gathered in his name, there shall he be also.
The disciples were no formalized church and they followed his example. Early churches were nothing but gatherings of followers who got together to honor, praise, and worship the Lord. You don’t need fancy rituals to honor our Lord and Savior.
It clearly says it in the book of mormon, so mormons, please dont deny it.
Christ was Begotten by an immortal Father in the same way that mortal men are begotten by mortal fathers." (Mormon Doctrine, 1966, p. 547)
I’ve lost count of how many times i’ve read the Book of Mormon and i’ve never come across the scripture that says Christ was not born of a virgin. In fact, he was born of Mary who happened to be a virgin. If you can find me a scripture IN THE BOOK OF MORMON that confirms this, please let me know. Good luck!
Every year around this time, people ask me, what you are doing for christmas. Then i tell them i am a DEIST and i dont believe in that stuff. Then you see their mouth drop and they can’t believe it. "You dont celebrate christmas?"
AAAH Ignorance, never seems to go away.
I’m with you I wouldn’t celebrate christmas if it wasn’t for my 7 year old.Her dad and I can not wait for her to turn 18 so we don’t have to do christmas anymore.
I got 7. You can never have too many socks, I say.
I got one pack of socks that has 6 pairs on it.
